Our mission statement says it all: To inspire Jewish teenagers to live a more fulfilled life, and empower them with the tools to be the leaders of tomorrow.
CTeen of NW Seattle is an exciting teen program that welcomes all Jewish teens. We plan on hosting many events, engaging teens in social and volunteer events. It aims to help teens find and interact with other Jewish teens, building friendships and creating futures.
An important part of CTeen is its Leadership program. A board of capable and committed teenagers are selected who plan and run events. This empowers the leaders to give back to their friends and the community.
Social events range from movie nights, to lounge nights and everything in between. There are regular Shabbat dinners as well as regionals and Shabbatons.
Volunteer events teach teens the valuable trait of kindness and Chessed, helping them give back to the community with fun events like senior home visits, food banks and toy drives for sick children.
CTeen of NW Seattle is proud to be part of the International CTeen organization which boasts over 600 chapters in 37 countries and 6 continents, and is the fastest growing network of Jewish teens. CTeen Intl’s Mission Statement is: To provide a nurturing environment fusing fun, friendship, humanitarian outreach, mitzvah observance, and engaging Torah study.
