Dear Parents,
Rosh Hashanah is around the corner. This year the holiday is on Monday and Tuesday. We would like to encourage you to take the time and plan ahead for yourself and your family so the holiday of RH will be appropriately experienced.
Few ideas:
🔹Family dinner on Sunday and Monday evenings with friends and extended family. Prepare in advance games, stories and songs to make the experience enjoyable and meaningful.
You are welcome to join the community dinner as well.
🔹 Rosh Hashanah morning have the kids skip school and dress up in honor of the holiday; bring them along to services to pray and hear the sounds of the Shofar. Services start at 9:30 am, and Shofar will take place on Monday and Tuesday from 11:30am-12pm. (The kid's program will start at 10:30 am and will run until the end of services)
🔹 Bring the family on Monday afternoon at 5:30 pm for the Tashlich services.
The more thoughts and attention you will place on the importance of the upcoming days will enable your children to follow and connect to the meaningful days and have a positive Jewish experience.
If you need any help, please don't hesitate to reach out, and we would love to support you with all your holiday preparations.
Wishing you a Shana Tova, and may we continue having much Naches from our children.
With Love,
Rabbi Yoni & Mushka
