Hundreds of thousands in the city are facing food insecurity.
We’re on a mission to change that right here in Northwest Seattle.
Through The Kindness Kitchen, we serve families in need, individuals who are sick or going through difficult times, seniors living alone, and those without stable housing.
But this is about more than just food.
We prepare meals we would proudly serve our own families fresh, homemade, kosher, and made with care. Because everyone deserves to be nourished with dignity and love.
About The Kindness Kitchen
We are bringing our community together to cook, give, and make a real difference. We believe that both cooking and giving are powerful ways to support one another and strengthen our community.
And yes this is meaningful work, but it’s also a lot of fun.
There’s something special about cooking together, sharing the experience, and we always make plenty of extras for volunteers to enjoy as well.
This initiative was made possible with the early support of a generous philanthropist in our community, who immediately saw the vision and helped bring it to life.
There’s a place for everyone to be part of this mission.
Whether it’s your first time volunteering or you’ve been involved before, you can join through:
-
Teen-only sessions
-
Adult volunteer opportunities
-
Family experiences
-
Bar and Bat Mitzvah mitzvah projects
-
Corporate and group volunteer days
Every meal we prepare and every package we deliver carries warmth, dignity, and respect.
You matter. You are not alone. You are part of our community.
RSVP now to secure your spot. Once we hit 25 participants, registration will close.
Kindness, one meal at a time.
